Now , who would have imagined this.As a team which has the most passionate supporters in the world, India under achieves big time , every time.But one can sense there is something different about this team.They are able to get the results.Indians are famous to lose the match after they have almost won it.This team is not repeating the same mistakes.
Still too early to say much though, consistency is the key. hope the media does not hype this beyond proportions and keeps them in their place.
After all , they play cricket, they get paid for it and probably for the first time they re payed their fat contracts.
Barcelona , there is a sudden rush of blood in my body whenever i hear the name.The experiences one would have in Barcelona will truly continue to amaze you as long as you live.
Its not a city treasured for architecture,applauded for scenic beauty or visited for romance, its just a lively happening city too good to be true.
I strongly think that the city is what the people make it to be.Though Gaudi’s strange but absolutely fascinating architecture makes the city truly fashionable, the enthusiasm of the people in Barcelona make it an amazingly enviable place for a foreign visitor.
People will welcome you with open arms, talk to them about anything and you will find friends in a flash.People like to party here and beach parties go all night.Holidays are quite frequent here and siesta though becoming a thing of past here , don’t find shops opening late any surprise.
There is no point writing tons about Barca , only way to feel barca and absorb its true spirit is to be there.
This was definitely one of my best trips ever and will i go back there again , You bet!!!!

There have been so many times that i have been standing at the roof wondering how it is to fly.Watching the eagle spread its wings and float around always inspired me.
So when i was at interlaken, and saw posters of para gliding , fly like a bird all around me , there was nothing else to do but to fly.
I was picked up at around 10:00 in the morning, the trip up in the jeep made me a bit nervous at first because of the high altitude.After choosing the pilots for tandem gliding and receiving instructions , the feeling was an odd mix of enthusiasm and nervousness.
The fact that we had to run of a cliff was the scary part, i decided to close my eyes.When our turn came to jump , i did not even realize and ran at full speed following instructions and before i could close my eyes and run off the cliff , we were in air , floating.It was just amazing seeing the world below you and cruising over trees and houses and lakes.
I have never felt so excited in my life before.The roller coasters(mind you , only for the brave hearted and for people who don’t puke) where you just turn left and right at 90 degrees were amazing as well.I was having the time of my life.
The sight of the 2 lakes , Thun and Brienz were amazing.THats when i decided that a cruise on these lakes is an absolute must.
I think this is a sport which everybody must do , its fun,safe and easy. Especially , if its a scenic place like Swiss , its even more amazing.

If the porto game was one of the worst Liverpool performances i have seen , the game against Birmingham was just the old story of Liverpool not doing/creating enough.And slowly , now we are losing ground against the others.
Rafa can blame the international matches, injuries or match fixtures, but the truth is that he team still does not have the great mentality of its predecessors , who would always sneak a win in the dying minutes.Maybe it takes time, but this is not enough right now for EPL. Liverpool might still remain genuine contenders , but inability to put of teams like birmingham at home is surely a disappointment.
Once in a while when you watch a movie , you come across some which absolutely lack any kind of story, but still keeps you interested for some reason.Well Superbad is one of those! absolutely nothing in terms of story , but bunch of American kids wants booze , so they keep f****ing away.One really wonders if this can really happen in America !! i guess it can , i mean if G Bush thinks mandela is already dead, then anything else is possible as well.
Watch this movie , its timepass, American pie style !! Still wonder why the most powerful country in the world takes pride in portraying the stupidest things that people do.
Like they say , It happens only in America!!!!
